Whoa I didn't realize how serious this was. I was just going to show up with a photo ID and take the test but I guess people are getting crafty and making it more difficult
Does your admission ticket have a room number? (Mine does). If you're close enough to the university, could you make a trip over and check it out yourself?
... called them and, yes, your photo can be black and white ... I could bring the passport photo I scanned in case the ... because of a somewhat unclear photo so I'm printing it ...

Say you send in an application with your June LSAT score and then you retake again in September. Will they take a second look?
I have the same problem. The photo on my ticket is very blurred after printing. I don't know if it is "discernible" in this situation...should I contact LSAC in this situation?
What @Pacifico said, if you start now, you will be glad you did. Then it is just a matter of them waiting for your LSAT to review, thereby increasing your chances of admission since more seats are still available that early on.
