A big factor for me is that June is in the afternoon and I'm not a morning person - AND it allowed me to get my applications in early for rolling admissions (rather than tail end with Feb).

What if I submitted without a diversity statement-- is it bad form to ask to have one added to my file? I have one ready to go (it's even well written). For some inexplicable reason I didn't want to reveal so much about myself the day I hit submit.
