yes the newertests are harder. imo it's mostly from LR and RC. doing super thorough BRs and taking a good amount of time to review Q types you're missing before the next test will help

That was the case for me. Do not be discouraged by variation when you jump from older tests to newertests. The logical foundations are exactly the same. Thoroughly review and I'm sure you will be back to your PT average or even higher!
