If you're staring at your computer screen, try using: https://justgetflux.com/ It will adjust the light of your computer screen to adapt to the time of day so you're not always on the brightest setting. -

Yup! Once they are on your computer they'll be safe. Be sure to save them to a flash drive as well to ensure you won't lose them. -
