If you were given an LSAC feewaiver, then this would get waived because LSAC granted this to the applicant, but otherwise the reporting fee won't be waived.
Hawaii is the one school out of the 37~ I applied to that did not give me a feewaiver. They said they do not give out fee waivers to anyone unless they are vets or can prove some sort of financial hardship.
Contrary to what everyone has already posted, Alabama sent out a coupon code to pay the $45 CAS fee. It came with an application feewaiver. Shout out to Bama! So at least one school “pays” the report fee and I wish more would!

That ... have applied without the feewaiver and $45 CAS coupon ...
Have you received a feewaiver from nyu, Columbia, or upenn? Upenn's applications seems tedious and hard to be accepted for. And nyu and Columbia don't send out need based fee waivers
It might be easier for you to reach out to the school to ask for a feewaiver than wait on them. My guess is that the fee waivers are sent after a score release, probably beginning Monday, but it might be best to reach out yourself.
I may potentially answer your question later today.
Does that carry any weight? Doesn't to me. If you're interested in attending the schools or potentially using them as leverage then consider asking for a feewaiver and apply.

Stay in the game. It sounds like you started studying somewhat recently. There are many more test dates this time around than in the past. Would they give you a feewaiver?

I just got my feewaiver approved. Thought i'd share some insight. Basically, a detailed letter followed by documented support. LOTS of documents. I pretty much dropped a ton of documents to backup what I wrote in my letter.
There’s a HarvardLaw podcast called Leading Questions (preciously “all rise”) and the hosts interview HarvardLaw professors. Might not help with the LSAT but it’s interesting and certainly inspirational.

@ramandielham from my understanding you only get the feewaiver if you see your score and cancel it; if you withdraw you do not fall into that category and therefore, unfortunately, will not get the feewaiver for a future test.
