Warming up with a game before usually helps me get in the zone and jolt me out of whatever mental space I was in before. On test day I plan to get to the test site early and do a couple games in my car so I don't warm up on the real deal.
I also think it depends on your level of preparedness. If you are as prepared as you could possibly be, then it may be good for your mental state. But if you aren't and you need that time to study, I would advise against it
I like to bubble in after each game, after each passage, and after each LR page. I feel like the slight time between bubbling is a minor mental break lol.
@"Alex Divine" Thank you, I was thinking about all of you while doing the test. I was making mental notes to share with all of you! Will edit it and add a bit more of a structure in the morning, still exhausted from the whole travel thing.
