I would totally retake. I also got a 169 but that was on the upper end of my PTs and my second take. I found the second time around I was much less nervous and things just clicked better. I know it sucks, but it's another three monthsofstudying.
A lot of people have a diagnostic score ... or higher after a few monthsofstudying. People also commonly get 10 ... level of improvement in your score after just a few weeks ofstudying.

I didn’t take a diagnostic, but scored a 152 on my first test after three monthsofstudying, so I set my diagnostic range conservatively in the upper 140’s.
Worked up to official 176, so my opinion here is self-evident.
@noonawoon I guess what I'm confused on is the effectiveness ofstudyingwith the digital tester in general. Of course it won't be the same thing on test day, but I've ultimately decided to try to balance both paper and digital :)

Starting a course like 7Sage sooner and/or allowing more than 3-4 monthsofstudying (more like 1 year, to ensure you have reached your scoring potential).
It took me a solid six monthsofstudying 2-3 hours a day to see improvement in LR. It’s been the hardest section for me so you could see some improvement quicker
