Ask for all of the recs and figure it out later as some professors/employers lag on responding. I agree that you just need 2 academic LORs unless you’ve been outofschool for more than 2-3 yrs.

Yeah, agreed with the others. And if you've only been outofschool a couple of years, law schools generally prefer academic references anyway. Their interest is really in knowing that you'll be a good student, not necessarily your work product.
