Yes, it is separate. When you apply, you will have to indicate if you're applying for full or parttime. There are a certain number of seats available for each program and part-time usually has slightly lower admissions criteria for LSAT score and GPA.
A lot of people I know worked through law school parttime at a coffee shop or bartended so that they could cover small expenses and finance the rest through loans. Not sure about their school policies, but some of them went to reputable schools.

I did something similar in undergrad; I didn’t include it in my resume, but I did in the “employment” sections that many apps have. Otherwise, maybe you can list “misc parttime student jobs” as have them as bullet points on the resume?
Hi! I did that during undergrad but it wasn't for a big law firm. I did disclose starting law school and it was fine with them. If I were you I'd look at smaller law firms. Or apply for temporary/parttime legal assistant jobs.Hope this helps!
