It depends by school. Some do it as they start rolling in. Some start in bunches in November. Some start in November but review them in order. That is a good question for an admissionsofficer if you go and speak with them.

@rjp12345 Thanks for your input! Yeah what I have is 2 sentences. I think I just second guess myself because I would gladly provide one if asked for but I'm always trying to think if an admissionsofficer would say "sooooooo...why did you write this?" lol
Speaking as a former admissionsofficer, you can explain a gap in your resume by including an Employment Gap Addendum in your application. It provides context and helps the admissions committee interpret what they are seeing in your resume and application.
