I applied to all my schools by March 1st/4th but haven’t received a decision from several schools (they just say they’re completed/in review).
Should I contact their admissions office or does it look bad to ask them to look at my application?

Do schools email you when an admissions decision has been made? I look at my status checkers about once a week. But I'm wondering if it even makes sense to if schools will ultimately be notifying you anyway via email.
