If you dig around at Law School Numbers, there are plenty of examples of people with low LSAT scores getting into Yale and NYU after retaking and getting a higher score.
In regards to your LSAC GPA, retaking a class does not replace the grade with the new one, they are both factored in. So it will only improve your LSAC GPA marginally.
I'm like not even excited at all to know my score (rolling eyes emoji). I know I bombed RC and will be retaking either way, even started studying again so they can keep my damn sept score
