Hey... Does anyone feel like the way the bubbling patterns were make them second guess yourself? I felt like it was another way to add stress to the test smh Or did i just blow it? haha
No, weird bubbling patterns are more likely intentional than unintentional, I think, so seeing that doesn't worry me. On that note, anyone else notice goofy BBB, AAA type stuff all up and down the experimental sections?
As a TA, I used a Scantron machine a handful of times. A small tear on the side likely won't affect how your answer sheet is graded.
If you're absolutely paranoid, just have them manually grade it, as @"Cant Get Right" suggested.
Hey i accidentally tore my December 2016 scantron a little bit and there was no issue at all. I received my score on the same day as everyone else (in an early wave, too!). You'll be fine.
Make sure to bubble carefully. So many crazy stories on reddit about bubbling mishaps. Very depressing. All that time and effort studying only to slip up by shifting all of your answers down by one line.
@jkatz1488 do you find the blacks adequate to use for bubbling? the only negative i've heard about them is that when going to erase a shaded bubble, there is serious ghosting left behind and it's almost impossible to completely remove.
I take screenshots of the old scantron the actual score breakdown before I take. Then I compare and see if I am getting questions wrong consistently. These questions I usually cut out and put in my secret stash.
@"Alex Divine" makes sense, that also confirms my thoughts on breaking the flow.
(sidenote: you are not only a pencil guru, but also a bubbling guru! thank you  )
@akistotle that is useful to know! thanks
