Retaking the LSAT and improving would help, but that may not be an option for you. Send a letter of continuing interest a day or two after initial seat deposits are do. Polite, to the point, highlighting how much you want to go there.

Former admissions officer here. You can put down a deposit at your best current option. If you eventually get off the waitlist at your dream school, you can withdraw from the deposited school. This is not uncommon. Good luck!
