I started studying in June of 2016, right after graduating college in May. I plan to take the exam in June or September2017, I haven't decided yet. I figured giving myself a year would be a sufficient amount of time. Good luck !

@LSATShinobi I think they start sending waivers based on the application cycle. You likely won't see any start to come in for the next cycle (fall 2018) until closer to when apps open (september2017)
