One interesting approach I have heard is to take the PTs outoforder. For example, 51, 61, 71, 52, 62, 72, etc, etc. That will give you exposure to the newer tests and their differences without burning through them.
You can begin from PT 1, but if you're food proofing games by game type then you have to go outoforder. I personally think that fool proofing by game type is better, but doing it by PT can help too.

You should be fine doing it outoforder, I did it and I think it was fine. Just be sure not to skip over the important content: introduction to logic, existential quantifiers, causation logic, the LG cc and RC memory method.
I'm also doing it outoforder b/c I need to work on certain things more than others. If you do have the time, I would recommend doing it in order though. This isn't the best method.
