With your stats and URM status, I think it would be a mistake to ED. I wouldn't rule out HYS or others in the T14 with $$$. Just make sure you have superb essays and LOR. -

@sx23 no but I feel dumb for sending them an email. They clearly say on their website that they waive the fee for any application received between 9/1 and 12/1 http://www.law.northwestern.edu/admissions/faq/faqjd.html

I read the article and have a hard time believing the 30%+ boost in T14 they attribute to Sept vs Oct. In any case, you should send in your apps as soon as you can and no sooner. I'm waiting for my final LOR as patiently as I possibly can lol. -
