7Sage Live Class and Courses Code of Conduct

Welcome to 7Sage! We've created these guidelines to ensure our live classes and courses remain supportive, focused learning environments. By participating in our services, you agree to follow this code of conduct.

Core Principles

Be Respectful: Treat instructors and fellow students with courtesy and kindness. We're all here to learn and improve together.
Stay Focused: Keep discussions relevant to LSAT preparation and the class content. We enjoy some joking around and friendly conversation, but follow your instructor’s lead and avoid letting side conversations or off-topic discussions become too distracting from the lesson at hand.
Follow Your Instructor's Lead: Instructors manage the pace and structure of each class. Please respect their guidance and classroom management decisions.

Specific Guidelines

  • Language: Casual profanity is acceptable as long as it's not directed at anyone or sexual in nature. Avoid gratuitous cursing.
  • No flirtation or romantic advances toward instructors or other students
  • Avoid sensitive topics: While some LSAT questions may touch on political or controversial subjects, keep your discussion focused on analyzing the question itself. Avoid delving into broader political debates or divisive topics that may distract from the learning experience or make others uncomfortable.
  • Be mindful when discussing difficulty: Avoid calling questions "too easy" or expressing that concepts are obvious. What seems simple to you may be challenging for others.
  • Handle scores and admissions talk carefully: Be considerate when discussing PT scores, target schools, or admissions outcomes. Not everyone is at the same stage or comfort level with sharing this information.
  • Engage constructively: Ask questions, participate in discussions, and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Be patient: Remember that everyone learns at different paces.

Enforcement Policy

Standard Process:

  1. First violation: You'll receive a warning and guidance on appropriate behavior
  2. Continued violations: Removal from the current class Serious and/or Repeated Violations: Serious or repeated offenses (over multiple classes) may result in:
    • Immediate removal from class
    • In extreme cases, removal from the 7Sage platform entirely

Our Discretion: All enforcement decisions are made at the discretion of 7Sage instructors and staff based on the specific situation and context.
