• Account and profile data: name, email, username, and optional admissions profile details (academic history, test scores, demographic information). You control the visibility of admissions profile fields through privacy settings.
• Study data: practice test answers, scores, timing, study plans, progress, bookmarks, and notes.
• Community content: discussion posts, chat messages, AI Coach conversations, tutoring session details, and feedback.
• Payment data: billing details are collected by our payment processors (Stripe on web; Apple App Store or Google Play on mobile). We do not store card numbers.
• Automatic data: IP address, pages viewed, device information, browser timezone, and cookies.
• Third-party sources: if you connect LawHub, we import your practice data. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email.

How We Use It

We use your information to provide and improve the Service — delivering content, tracking progress, powering AI features, processing payments, operating community features, sending transactional communications, providing support, and complying with legal obligations.

Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers as needed to operate the Service, including: payment processors, AI model providers (for AI Coach and related features), analytics and session replay tools, email delivery services, cloud hosting (AWS), video conferencing (Zoom for live classes and tutoring), LSAC/LawHub (when you connect your account), anti-spam/bot protection services (including Google reCAPTCHA), and scheduling/survey platforms. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and security, and an analytics cookie to understand usage patterns. Third-party services embedded in the Service may set their own cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Billing records are retained as required by law. When you delete your account, we anonymize your identity data; some associated records (such as study data, billing history, and community posts) may be retained in anonymized form.

Your Choices

• Update your information and notification preferences in account settings.
• Reset study data (drills, practice tests, lesson progress) in preferences.
• Enable or disable AI features in settings.
• Delete your account by contacting studentservice@7sage.com.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws (such as the CCPA or GDPR), including access, deletion, portability, and objection. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Security

We protect your data with password hashing, TLS encryption, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

The Service is for LSAT and law school applicants. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
