7Sage Subscription Reviews
My coach, Emily, was incredible! I had been studying for the LSAT for a while before I started working with her, but my score had plateaued in the 172-174 range. I was only about a month out from my LSAT and was expecting coaching to help me stay consistent and maintain my PT scores on test day, but with Emily's help I was able to see dramatic score improvement within that time!
She did a great job of personalizing my study strategy for me and explaining questions where I just wasn't getting it, even after watching all the standard 7Sage videos. She never rushed through our sessions and always made sure I left the call feeling confident. She listened closely to my reasoning and was able to identify exactly where I was going wrong. I never thought she was just going through a general explanation, she always tied it back to my original thinking.
On one call, we were going through a few questions I had missed on my last two PTs, but ran out of time before we got through the last question. Instead of immediately hopping off the call at time, Emily squeezed in a brief explanation for that last question, spending a few extra moments with me to make sure I was really getting it.
Without Emily's help, I don't think I ever would've broken 175. After working with her for just a few weeks, I hit a high PT of 179 and an official LSAT of 180! I truly cannot recommend her highly enough.
7Sage and my coach James Allen helped take me from a 159 diagnostic score to a 176 official score (August 2026). I highly recommend 7Sage and I can't thank James enough for going above and beyond as a coach.
Congratulations! I'll pass this onto James. ❤️
I was paired with Taylor Matricardi through 7Sage’s Coach program after hitting a low-170s plateau. After just one session with Taylor, I was able to achieve multiple 180s on practice tests and ultimately scored a 177 on my first official attempt this past August. Taylor is honestly so much more than an LSAT coach; he provided insight not only into strategies for solving questions, but also valuable reassurance about the entire test-taking experience. He went out of his way to make sure I fully understood the material and felt completely comfortable with the LSAT process. I could not recommend Taylor and 7Sage enough!

That's amazing, congrats! I'll pass this onto Taylor.
I would recommend 7Sage to anyone. The core curriculum was comprehensive and interesting. The target times, blind review system, and answer explanations helped me achieve my target score and will open a lot of doors for my future career. Thank you 7Sage!
This makes me so happy to read. Thank you!
This gave my life meaning I thought was lost.THANK YOU.
And never give up,no matter how horrible the setback or how stupid you feel after that fuckup. It gets better.
That's a winner's attitude. I'm rooting for you!
I was paired up with Joe Katz through my Coach subscription and have been working with him since late May in preparation for the August exam. His expertise was easily the most valuable and impactful aspect of this subscription level. He developed a great study plan for me that helped me consistently hit PT scores that I was nowhere near when prepping on my own this spring. Joe's analysis of my progress and insight into high-level questions and strategy were game changers for me, and combining those skills with the genuine care he showed me as an aspiring law student and more importantly as a person made him as great of a tutor/coach as I could have asked for. Thanks so much Joe/7Sage, fingers crossed for good news in a few weeks!
Will pass on the praise to Joe. Thank you!
I feel like this course provides all the necessary tools to prepare for the LSAT, and it does so in a smart, encouraging and pedagogical manner. It's such a game changer when all I can do is study at home, so thank you !

Thank you!
I'm very happy with what I have learned so far. I'm still far away from where I want to be, but I think the courses is helping me to move in the right direction.

Keep up the hard work!
Highly recommend. Everything you need to perform successfully on the LSAT. Don't need any other source of preparation.

Thank you!
Hi
I got the fee waiver from LSAC. They provide generous support with live package for $2 per year.
Very happy with the system!
So glad you’re enjoying it! And just a quick note for anyone reading: Live is $2/month with an LSAC fee waiver.
Thanks for the 17 point jump!

Congratulations!
I had Lowri Thomas tutor me through the coaching subscription plan and she completely changed how I looked at questions, I felt like I had finally found an approach that worked for me rather than trying to formulate an approach based on someone else's understanding of the material or something I read elsewhere. The core curriculum, explanation videos and the 7sage platform overall were very helpful along this process as well. Lowri helped me find a tailored approach that worked for me and she's a coach that I would highly suggest!
Thank you for sharing this! Lowri rocks. I'll this along. Also happy to hear that the rest of the site supported you throughout the process. Wishing you continued success!
So helpful!!!
Thank you!
All good, but I wish I could get rid of the AI stuff.

I was able to go from a 164 to a 180!!
Congratulations!
The teacher (Kevin, I believe?) is incredible. His walk-throughs really helped me internalize the method for tackling LR and made me feel confident in my reasoning. I scored a 176 after roughly 3.5 months of studying. This is a very affordable and adaptable platform that I would recommend to anyone!
So glad to hear this. I'll pass it on!
Course section: Great breakdown of mechanical methods to achieve a reliably good score.
Drills: Gives good priority breakdown
Studying Plan: Only reason it's not 5 stars, I personally didn't use it as I found my own study regiment by just using priorities to be more effective but maybe that's just personal.
Exams: Pretty much replicates the actual test day software as well as possible. I'm glad it's barebone and exact replication of LSAC's UI as it made the actual exam feel very familiar and like just another practice test.
Thank you!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Went from a 144 diagnostic to a 161 in 3 months!
Nice job and congrats!
My diagnostic was a 158. I studied almost daily for 8 months with 7Sage and ended with a 176 LSAT score! Not only is the curriculum effective, it is also user-friendly, cheerful and welcoming. Whenever I've had a question, I've received help from the 7Sage staff within a day. Definitely worth the money!!
Congratulations!
92% of the 964 ratings on this page are 5 stars, and students independently rate 7Sage 4.9/5 on Trustpilot and 4.9/5 on the App Store — so reviewers overwhelmingly say yes. The subscription fits self-studiers best; students who want live structure tend to choose classes or tutoring. For students with an LSAC fee waiver, the subscription is $1–2/month.
The most common criticisms in our reviews: some older video explanations dismissed wrong answer choices too quickly. We have since added written explanations for every question, and we publish newer, more in-depth videos daily. Some students found the old study scheduler rigid; we rebuilt it in 2026. Others mention the cost of the subscription and coaching tiers without financial aid, and occasional mobile-app bugs. Every review is published unedited, so you can read the critical ones yourself using the rating filter above.
No. Every review submitted is published word for word. We would only remove a review if it were spam or contained personal information, and so far that has not happened. You can filter by star rating, including 1-star.
Students who started below 150 and took 11 or more PrepTests gained a median of 19 points.
