In-Person Classes Community Guidelines
Our in-person classes are a place to learn, engage, and grow together. To make sure our classes run smoothly, it's important that we're all on the same page about our community guidelines.
Behavior in Class
Stay on topic: Friendly banter is welcome, but let’s keep it to a minimum so we can focus on the LSAT.
Wait your turn: Feel free to chime in with a question, but remember to respect others when they are speaking or being addressed by the instructor.
No offensive language: Let's maintain a respectful and professional environment. Refrain from using language that may be offensive, hurtful, or inappropriate to your peers. We specifically won't tolerate racism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, misogyny, or religious discrimination.
Language and Content
Keep your language G-rated: A slip-up here or there is human, but please refrain from excessive cursing.
Be nice: It goes without saying, but we're saying it anyways. Treat instructors and fellow students with respect and kindness. If you disagree with someone, express your opinion in a polite and constructive manner. Remember, everyone is here to learn and grow; fostering a supportive environment will only enhance the experience for everyone involved. Let's lift each other up and create a community we're all proud to be a part of.
Friendly, not flirty: Being friendly is always encouraged, but flirty messages to students and teachers? Not in our classroom. Let’s keep it professional.
Participation
Getting involved: Participation is highly encouraged! If you have a question, don’t be afraid to ask by raising your hand. We might not be able to get to all of the questions within the class timeframe, but they are always welcome.
Privacy
Behavior outside class: Students are welcome to form study groups and interact outside class, though we must remind students that what occurs outside class is outside the bounds of 7Sage moderation. That said, please respect your fellow students' privacy and refrain from reaching out to them unless they have expressly invited contact.
Communicating with your instructor: Your instructor is here to help you in your LSAT journey, but please keep in mind that they have many other students (and lives of their own!). They will try to respond to you as soon as they can, so don't spam them or try to reach out to them anywhere except their official 7Sage email.
