the sentence with "rotten" is a red herring. there is no way to use it to move from what we know to what we are trying to prove.
In the domain of fruits:
Inspected---->Infected
Inspected--->Safe to eat
This is valid argument form #3 that we are "building" with our SA.
Premise: A---->B
Conclusion: A---->C
SA: B--->C
Final argument: A--->B---->C
Infected----->Safe to eat
A few tips for these questions:
-the contrapostive is ALWAYS fair game
-the presence of the red herring
-terms that sound the same "infected/inspected"
-The logical operator for (E) starts in the middle of the answer choice: "any"
