Unless you had a reason to, I would leave them alone. They are crazy busy this time of year. Don't bother them if you don't have to. If they want to get to know you better, they will call you or set up an interview.
I think it could be helpful if you had real questions to ask them. You can always call them and speak to someone. They usually do get your information and may even offer you a fee waiver!
