Advice

Hey guys! I don't really know what else to say but I feel like im psyching myself out about the LSAT. I have these really high goals with a lot riding on it as if i do not get a scholarship, I don't know how im going to pay for law school. I guess I'm just looking for some advice. Its early in my LSAT journey and im planning on testing in June and then again in August if necessary.

It’s completely normal to feel stuck at this stage, especially when progress doesn’t feel linear. Small improvements add up more than people realize. Taking short mental breaks helps too, and sometimes I reset with something simple like https://casinosanalyzer.com/free-slots-online/Book-of-Dead . Consistency usually beats cramming in the long run.

I felt the same way about a year ago. Took the LSAT twice and didn't feel like I reached my potential, so I waited another year, moved back in with my parents, and used time to my best advantage.

One of the best pieces of advice I gave myself a few months ago when I was frustrated was asking myself this question, "If I could look back 6 months from now and I'm scoring in the 170s, what would I be glad I did today to make that happen?" And then I would go about doing that, whether that's taking a nap so I don't feel drained or waking up early to fit in some drills before work.

For me, the LSAT is about setting long term goals, but even more so, it is about just doing the next right thing. Small, consistent steps in the right direction :) we both got this!!

You have a lot of time, my friend. You aren't the only one to feel that way, and you won't be the last one. You need to take your time studying for the LSAT.

    Be consistent.

    Don't rush.

    And don't stress yourself out.

If you are planning on taking the test in June, see where you are in your studying in a month from now.

The registration deadline for the June LSAT is 4/21/2026. You have about 4 months to decide whether or not to sign up for the exam. If you don't feel prepared, sign up for the August one. And if you don't feel prepared, then keep studying.

If your finances aren't great right now, wait to go to Law School another year.

In short, don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow has enough troubles of its own. Take little steps to your goal, and just study whenever you have time.

    Take care, my friend.

You have a lot of time! Sounds cliché, but no need to worry about a test in June, or August in January. Try to operate in the being part of your brain, not the doing. Think about getting better in Janurary, in January, then worry about February 1st on Feb 1st, so on and so forth. Then day by day, the days will stack on top of each other, and the process will become second nature! It truly is one day at a time, and the only one that matters in terms of LSAT prep is the current day of improvement!
