Is anyone else concerned/frustrated with the new law hub interface? I just took my first practice section in the new interface... I have my concerns.
First, why did they make it extremely inconvenient to "block out" wrong answers? It took me on average 15-30 more seconds per question, simply because I had to keep clicking back and forth to be able to "block out" wrong answers, and go back to being able to choose the right answer.
To try and combat this I was going to highlight why I chose the wrong answer (as I normally do in the practice), and now that's not an option either. Which brings me to my second issue... why can we not highlight in the answer choice anymore? this was extremely useful for going back to flagged questions, as I would highlight certain words in the 2 AC's I was stuck between.
The test is already difficult in its self, I feel like they should have just kept the eye symbol to "block out" wrong answers. this new feature definitely does not make my experience "smoother and easier", it makes it more time consuming.
I think the fact it has more accessibility regarding color filters, font, etc. is awesome, but the aforementioned changes are burdensome and borderline unnecessary.

So glad other people hate it as much as I do. Is there any chance they just go back to the previous format? It seems straight up cruel to suddenly change it when format is an aspect that everyone studies in order to perform well.
might be a silly question but does anyone know if it is 100% changing or if it's just in beta mode? cuz im wondering if its necessary for me to start adapting into using the new interface as much as i hate it...im planning on taking the exam after august
this! it's making me so nervous for the August exam since I keep getting confused with the masking feature and wasting time
I completely agree... I just took a drill and bombed it, but did better after using the old interface. It's frustrating, and a score changer for sure
I can understand the need for changing the interface to uplift it in certain areas, but I do think that it regressed in certain areas like you mentioned.
What I don't get is how someone looked at some of the parts of the old interface then gave them an extra step for no discernable reason. Blocking out an answer was a 1-step process in the old one, now it's 3 in the new one (click hide, hide answer, click hide to go back to answer select.) Like any script kiddie learning Java or any computer language would know to make their stuff simpler, not harder.
I guess I don't have the brimming intellect of LSAC's hivemind or the apathy of their software developers to understand it, but I do hope they regress those changes while keeping the new interface as it does have some genuine improvements (I think it's easier to read things on this UI compared to the old one, but that preference will be a subjective thing vs. objective)
I feel exactly the same! At this point, I'm trying to get into the habit of not blocking out wrong answers ...
