I am registered for the August LSAT AKA 10 days yayya (i feel sick to my stomach). I have been stuck around 148, but had a PT last week where I scored 152 and blind reviewed 165. I was feeling so good about myself and then my PT today I got 146. Screaming, crying throwing up. Can someone please help me, am I effed if I bomb this August LSAT? I am going to take in again in October and feel pretty good about this test, but I just know that I am going to bomb this one next week. How do I get out of the 140's? am i screwed? help a girl out please!!!!

I know this is not what you want to hear. But the median LSAT is essentially 155 for accredited law schools. You are not effed if you bomb this test, but you may want to consider cancelling it and eating the cost of the exam. If your profile is accurate, there is a lot more you can put into the test and it is not worth forcing yourself to sit through an LSAT and using one of your attempts.

I'd cancel your test. I wouldn't push through and bomb the test. Even if you get 152, you still likely won't get the results you're looking for, and it will be a black mark on your record.

Screaming/crying/throwing up means you're really too overwhelmed to get very far in the next week in terms of cramming for the test. It's not like if you just push through the effort and stress will pay off. It's just plain not working.

I say this decisively, out of love for you. Me saying this isn't because you're so stressed and I pity, but just that logically the chance of what you're trying to do succeeding is like 0%, and by forcing yourself to take it you're making an emotional and not very smart decision.

When I took the April LSAT the last PT I did about 10 days before the exam, I scored 10 points lower and freaked but after talking to a lot of people I learned its actually really normal. Youre anxious and in your head and want to score high before going in! I took my bad PT as a fluk that got my nerves out so that didnt happen on test day. Dont stress. Review it carefully and take a break from full PT's so on test day youre motivated and ready to rock.
