I got a 164 in Sept 2025 and 162 for August 2026. Planning to take Sept in a couple weeks. Should I cancel the 162?

No. A cancelled score often looks much worse or raises more questions. A 2 point difference is not worth cancelling

There's no need to cancel a score. The vast majority of schools will only receive your best score. Additionally, what's the shame in dropping a few points, something that's well within the score band, of your first score? I ended up getting the same score that I got in January, which while isn't what I wanted, is roughly what happened in your case.

Lastly, cancelling score is leaving the school to infer potentially the worst, which didn't happen.
