🙃 Confused

How to get from 150 to scoring 160s?

I’ve been studying for the last for a while now, every time I test I score higher, butttt recently I took PT 149 and scored low 140s which I know I rushed through without the extra time I was granted for accommodation ,I scored 150 on November 2025 LSAT… I’ve had a hard time scoring higher than 150 on a full test. The weird part is when taking full sections my scores are always predicted to be in the 156-160s on 7Sage but when I taking full test it’s never there… CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME POINTERS on how to hit my target score? In aiming for 160 by November lsat. I can say that I understand the foundations it’s just the trick answers that I feel I always get caught up with, or it’s more to it that I’m not understanding. I’m currently working on a wrong answer journal but not sure how much it could help to increase my score for full test

Hi! First, have you adjusted the settings? You can have your time always be 150% (or whatever your accommodation time may be)! Second, I would take your next PT under as close to test conditions as possible. For example, I will be writing from home, and ideally starting at 10:00am. I wake up no later that 8:30am, get myself ready, eat my test morning breakfast (oatmeal!), take some creatine (this is not a recommendation, this is what I do), get some sunlight or use my sunlight lamp, and rock on. It’ll help you see how you perform under timed test conditions! Third, I’d take sections untimed and hide the clock. Take off that pressure!

If your section scores are higher than your PTs, something is going wrong during testing conditions. I would recommend you working on building your endurance, because your skillset is not reflecting during the test. If you haven't, I would try and take a PT at least once every week and maybe even up it to 2 the closer you get to your testing date. The more familiar you are with PTs, the more comfortable you become while taking the test.
