I had a diagnostic of 154 about 3 months ago, just took the September LSAT last week, and will be taking the October LSAT as well, aiming for a score in the mid 170s. I'm a bit rushed right now as I'm trying to be done with the test before I start full time work in late October. However, I've been plateauing in the 160s (my highest PT score is 167) despite consistent studying throughout the summer. I know my goal and timeline is very ambitious, but I still want to put in everything I can.
I'm looking for a tutor that will be able to meet with me a couple times a week over the next few weeks leading up to the October test, and help push me to break this plateau. As an initial self-diagnosis, I think I have a good understanding of the fundamentals, but I seem to have some execution issues especially for 4* and 5* LR questions, that are holding me back. I also need to work on my speed too, like processing more complex arguments and anticipating answers quicker. I'm willing to pay $40-100 an hour for a tutor. Thanks!

Hi Caleb,
Great job on moving from a 154 diagnostic to a high of 167 in three months- that shows that you have built a meaningful foundation. At this stage, however, continued studying alone may not break the plateau. The level 4 and 5 LR questions tend to expose small but consequential losses of control in the process: identifying exactly what the question requires, controlling the reasoning chain and its connection to the conclusion, and determining what the correct answer must accomplish before entering the choices.
That last step is especially important for the answer anticipation and speed issues you mentioned. Speed on complex arguments should come from recognizing and controlling the reasoning more efficiently, not simply trying to read or move faster.
I have tutored LSAT students full time for 15 years. I would begin by examining your recent performance to locate the specific execution breakdowns, then organize the next several weeks around directly correcting and fortifying those areas. I can meet twice per week leading up to October, and my rate is $80 per hour, with a bulk purchase special of $320 for 5 sessions.
Your mid-170s goal is ambitious within this timeline, but certainly doable! I would be happy to discuss your section scores, recent work, and availability and determine how to make the most effective possible push before October. Feel free to message me and best of luck either way!
