For number 4, how do we know the chemicals will restore?

Maybe im jumping ahead, but there would be an assumption that in addition to not affecting the original dyes, the checmicals will "restore it fully" or something like that. That part is missing?

@JDTR1992 Yes same, the challenge is finding the "best" or "strongest" argument, not just one that is valid. There are multiple valid, but only one "strongest"

Anyone else having trouble finding which sentence is the premise and which one is the conclusion sometimes?

Ice cream is sweet, which makes it tasty.

The premise is that ice cream is sweet and the conclusion is that it is tasty.

So the author (me) is using the premise that ice cream is sweet as evidence to support the conclusion that ice cream is tasty
