for those that this happened to are you guys filing a complaint?
it kicked me out of my first section and when I got back to it, I had lost considerable time.
does anyone have the setup to this game?
does anyone have the set for pt 91 section 1 logic game 3? I think I am missing some sort of inference or my rules are messed up because I'm having some trouble with this game.
thanks
Admin Note: Edited title. Please use the format: "PT#.S#.Q# - brief description of the question"
usually its a good idea to split if you see any biconditionals. for example pt 76 game 4 I split based on the rule K and N are forever together. So in one option I put K and N in the IN group and in the other option I put K and N in the out group. and then I dealt with the other rules. let me know if you have a specific game in mind.
I also split based on not both rules because I know that one of them has to be out.
hi, how are you simulating this test? are you guys taking 4 sections and scoring all 4 sections. And are you guys alternating the 4th section between LR, LG and RC?
does anyone have a list of all the games that have rules with "unless" on them ? I thought I had found one in this discussion board but I can't seem to find it. Thank you.
I would suggest improving on logic games. That’s the easiest section to improve on and you will see a big score increase
I would start the for slow, maybe drilling the questions. Also I would try to do some logic games daily so you can get back in the hang of it.
What games are you struggling with? I currently get -0. Sometimes I get-3 if the games are difficult
@jdv978875 if there is an issue they will most likely reset it. They did the same thing for me when I took the writing portion since the system logged me out. Or they might just accept your writing portion and you won't have to do anything. I wouldn't stress too much about this, its an easy fix.
@mussmankevin162-1 the score isn't the issue. the problem is the testing limit. I score pretty high 166-171 range but I didn't score this on my lsat, which is why I want to take it once more.
@kkole44474 did you do this recently? because when I look online they say this: Three times in a single testing year (the next testing cycle begins with the August 2021 test and goes through the June 2022 test).
Five times within the current and five past testing years (the period in which LSAC reports scores to law schools).
But this was not something that was stated beforehand. They said that the testing cycle goes from June 1 to May 31. And according to a guy from LSAC, he said I could take it again in June.
I'm in the same spot as you, I called in March and I was told that since the testing period is from June 1 to May 31 then I could take it again starting in June since its a new testing period. I just tried to register for the June test and it doesn't allow me. I'm planning on calling them because its unfair for them to tell me something over the phone and then not allow me to sign up for it. For reference, the reason for me taking it one last time is that I'm currently on the wait list for a school I really want and I want to increase my score to allow me to be admitted.
@jmchin951 the 16-19 are all available. the 20 and 21 are probably reserved for people with accommodations
@jmchin951 i dont see the 21. I only see till the 19
@jmarmaduke96714 what time will the dec 18 session occur ?
@kim329 @877116 @rdtavel714 update: mostly all of the schools i emailed said that they didn't care that I excluded the canceled score because they will see it was canceled either way.
@kim329 it was the section where you put the month, the year and the score. I tried putting the word "cancel" and it wouldn't fit. I also tried "can" but it didn't look right. I thought about putting xxx put the system doesn't allow that. So I just left it out and just included my scored one. The reason why I asked UC Hastings was because I had a nagging feeling about it and they told me about writing an addendum. I truly don't see what the big deal is though, they are going to get my scores regardless
@877116 @kim329 i emailed them when i realized that I forgot to include it and they told me to submit an addendum. But i dont know if my addendum has to explain why its cancelled or why I forgot it. They made it seem like it was the latter.
@kim329 yeah that what I thought too. But UC Hastings wants to write an addendum regarding since I forgot to include it.
Do I have to include my canceled lsat on my application? Or do I only have to include my scored LSAT.
im interested
I’m also in the same situation and would like some feedback. I had to cancel my first exam due to proctor issues and have an exam on record that’s similar to @eu5007237. I took the November exam and I couldn’t concentrate at all. My dog of 13 years has just unexpectedly passed away the day before my exam and I was crushed and still still sad about this. Would it look bad to have two exams on record that show cancel ?
@cierraeckenrode4340 is this a second email? I already got the email stating that they allowed the retake.
