Hi! On question 7, how can we eliminate answer choice E? I thought the critics did not like that James' description was detailed in the same way highbrow literature is.

Does anyone else keep getting a thing that says 405 not allowed? I'm already panicking and it's not even test day. Cool.

Building off this question, can we use the ctrl-F feature to find words?

I thought E was doing comparison because of the "as well" in the conclusion? Is this not a comparison?

In response to just the 89/7 example, it's also possible that you vibe more with the old style of question, rather than the newer one. People have said that the LR on newer tests is harder than that of the older tests.

Hey Whimsical Willow -

I am thankful to say that I am not in school right now and I'm free-lancing, so I study about 6 hours a day.

While doing the CC, I took one timed PT a week. I finished the core curriculum last week and I'm now starting the practice tests. I am trying to take one practice test in the morning, then blind review in the evening and the next day.

I created a "study guide" with how-to's for the different types of logical reasoning questions. When I'm blind reviewing, I refer to that study guide to reaffirm the thought processes for each type of question. Happy to send it over if it would be helpful.

Hello! On 14, why is B incorrect? I thought about this passage in the context of JY's scientific method. We get the status quo: Mill and Levi Strauss' name theories. And then, we get new evidence of semantic content in names with the Hopis. And finally, we see reconciliation: names can have a poetic quality. Thus, the passage could propose a new theory about the origin of names.

One pro of the coronavirus: helped me learn these terms and slay this passage.
