Kind of similar experience, my diagnostic was a 166 and my PTs were above 170, but I got a 164 the first time I took the test (in June) and then a 168 in August. It's frustrating but from my experience I think the gap was from some hard to control factors (anxiety, less sleep as a result) but ALSO from what I perceive as a shift in the LR questions in the new tests-- more tricky conditional logic, parallel flaw questions, etc. which are my weakness. So I'm just drilling a lot of "Hardest" level questions and hoping for the best at this point.
@Claudia W Literally same, somehow still got it right because it was the only answer that made any sense but... weirdly phrased stimulus for sure.
I got this wrong but I think that the explanation for A being relevant is incorrect.
After thinking about it, I think A is actually relevant because of the possibility that repurposing sewage sludge (for fuel) could reduce dumping, therefore raising the hope that we could 'better protect the environment from harm than we do at present'.
Oh man... for the last question I misread and thought 'author' meant the author discussed IN the passage, not the author OF the passage
Literally got this wrong just because I didn't see the word "factory" in answer choice C. I spent so long on this question without seeing it! Close reading is soo important
