just an update - I met with an admissions counselor who recommended before the new year is a timely application. Starting to think of the timeline like:
Sept-October - Early; November-December - on time; Jan-March - later in the cycle
(this counselor is amazing and affordable btw. I am happy to share her info, just message me!)
Hi! I recently received a fee waiver from LSAC. yay! Am I able to backdate payments on7Sage using 7Sage's fee waiver platform? This would be a huge help!
@mom I think it’s going to be a few points of difference, but you never know how much that can help or hurt! My gpa is a bit low so I’m hoping to venture into strong splitter territory
@mom lol love your username! I think msot schools let you do this, but some don’t let you send updated info after your app. Check each schools info before finalizing your app to be sure!
Hi! I was told to apply by Halloween to get your app in on time, but I think I can do comparatively better on the LSAT in Nov vs October.
Is November still considered an early time to apply? Wondering if it’s worth it to rush the LSAT process a bit for an earlier application.
Hi! I am looking to learn more about which schools I should target this application cycle. I have been going to admissions AMA live sessions on 7Sage which are helpful, but I am looking for more specific advice about my personal application strategy.
Does anyone recommend an affordable admissions counseling service? I am open to Youtube video tutorials, group sessions, and more considering my budget seems below average for private counseling.
Any advice is great! Thank you all!
Mickey has helped me break from 150s to 160s! We organize and tailor lesson plans to material I should work on between meetings, emphasizing strong conditional reasoning. During sessions, we review wrong answers together and walk through similar untimed drills to process good testing habits real-time too. Breaking out of the 150s was a big struggle for me and I definitely feel like Mickey is pointing me in the right direction!
Can someone show the negation of AC C? Was struggling with where to negate exactly. Thank you
if anyone else is making a group, id love to join! Also happy to start a new group for wens at 8 if easier - Just drop a comment and be prepared to bring 1-2 questions for us to review each :D
Been working and studying and wanted to share what I wish I knew before I started -
Definitely apply for a fee waiver and if you get rejected, appeal! This will apply to CAS/ 2 LSAC tests and 7Sage.
live classes are helpful to meet other no-traditional students :)
I work with an affordable tutor I found here on 7Sage and strongly recommend working with one or a study buddy to keep yourself motivated. The nice thing about working with another person instead of a weekly study group is that they can be flexible to your schedule should work get busy, life comes up etc. Sometimes I meet with my tutor at 9pm on weekdays because it's the only time I know I'm free. Always happy to share their info :)
