Q2 messed me up because I didn't know to make 2 different chains. I just did:

Sansa -> /Arya -> /Robb -> Bran -> Jon

/Jon -> /Bran -> Robb -> Arya -> /Sansa

I keep getting the relationships right but then mess up the order of the chain or miss out on the full meaning of the relationship (or its inverse) by trying to break things down as much as possible. For example, here are all my answers:

Q1

  1. Raptor finds weakness -> Breaks through -> Everyone runs OR

  2. /Everyone runs -> /Breaks through -> /Raptor finds weakness

    I missed the 1st chain of Clever velociraptor -> Finds Weakness

Q2

  1. Pokemon evolves -> Gets Stronger -> Well Trained -> Full Potential OR

  2. /Full potential -> /Training -> /Get Stronger -> /Evolve

    I missed that getting stronger is irrelevant to the chain. Here my logic was: If A then B and If A then C, so B is sufficient for C but I guess we can't draw that relationship or maybe I'm still missing something

Q3

  1. Pure of heart -> Lift hammer -> Worthy of power -> Wield power w/o corruption

  2. /Wield power w/o corruption -> /Worthy of power -> /Lift hammer -> /Pure of heart

    I missed that being worthy of power is the SUFFICIENT here for purity. I thought it was the necessary

Q4

  1. /never accept leadership (aka accept leadership) -> truly confident -> makes tough decisions OR

  2. /makes tough decisions -> /truly confident -> never accept leadership

    Even though I got this chain right, I still made the mistake of saying 'makes tough decisions' for brevity/speed sake, but this still kind of defeats the true understanding of the relationship because the whole key is "EXPECTED TO"

Q5

  1. 9th level wiz -> great magical energy -> extensive training

  2. more to learn -> /extensive training -> /great magical energy -> /9th level wiz

    Here I kind of have the ideas right, but my order is a bit off. This is because when first breaking down each sentence into lawgic I did:

    1. 9th level wiz -> great magical energy

    2. Great magical energy -> Extensive training

    3. /9th level wiz -> more to learn OR 9th level wiz -> /more to learn (but now I realize here it can only be /A -> B OR /B -> A

      NOT /A -> B OR A -> /B)

@DouglasNeumeyer yea I focused on the indicator and that caused me to go against what my internal logic was telling me to do ..

@Jelly@law but it says in the question "Let's say that this rule governs Kumar, a student."

Even though I understand how to identify the object clause, I'm not really sure how this will help with LR & RC questions, or how to apply it in time-sensitive scenarios.

@TaylarGottsegen I chose B and now I feel silly about it after seeing the explanation and the fact that this is an 'easy' difficulty question.

In Q2 - isn't 'the plan' referring to 'reform the electoral process'? Idk why but I didn't think of 'acted' being the referring word here.

Q4 is tricky because couldn't 'them' also refer to the editorialists' criticisms?

@Chi. For me, the giveaway here is the word 'certainly'. Using the formula 'X (premise), therefore Y (conclusion)' I didn't think it could be flipped as easily.

We are not sure about determining intelligent life, therefore the question is certainly imprecise (at least according to this author).

If flipped: the question is imprecise therefore we are not sure.

The reason we aren't sure isn't because of the question, it's because we don't know how things that are different than us might still count as 'intelligent'

@MaameAbena What helped me answer that one was thinking about premise as "why does the author want me to believe this/what is the evidence they give" and conclusion as "what is the 1 main thing they want me to believe"

@ShanR Q2 tripped me up as well, I thought there was no argument here because 1. I am trying not to just rely on typical conclusion words and 2. The two statements didn't seem to be presenting an argument, just two 'facts'. But I guess now that I know the answer, is the author's main point here to dispute the premise? The premise being: there's only one true way to get an annual rate of earnings on interest.

Tiger: Not all fruits are ideal for a sweet pie. Eggplants are more known for savory dishes and do not taste good with sugar added.

Disney: All new employees can choose from two tiers of health benefits: high & low coverage. Employees with dependents under age 26 must provide an ID and medical certificates to get the high tier. Everyone else only needs to show an ID. John is on the low tier and he has 3 family members over age 26. Therefore, John did not provide medical certificates.

Fat Cat: 7 players in a game have 2 traitors within the group. Traitors usually don't speak up and try to sabotage challenges by playing badly. Jessica has been quiet for most of the game, which she says is due to her introverted nature, and her team lost the 1st challenge. My hypothesis is that Jessica is a traitor, intentionally keeping to herself.

@Aileened same here. I started in September 2025. I studied for maybe 3 weeks using LSAT Demon then never tried again until today. I just scored a 144 on my diagnostic (oof) but I am determined to keep going until I get it. I likely won't get myself together for a Sep 2026 law school start anyway, so slow and steady will win this race for a Sep 2027 beginning. Wishing you the best.
