@Chi. For me, the giveaway here is the word 'certainly'. Using the formula 'X (premise), therefore Y (conclusion)' I didn't think it could be flipped as easily.
We are not sure about determining intelligent life, therefore the question is certainly imprecise (at least according to this author).
If flipped: the question is imprecise therefore we are not sure.
The reason we aren't sure isn't because of the question, it's because we don't know how things that are different than us might still count as 'intelligent'
@MaameAbena What helped me answer that one was thinking about premise as "why does the author want me to believe this/what is the evidence they give" and conclusion as "what is the 1 main thing they want me to believe"
@ShanR Q2 tripped me up as well, I thought there was no argument here because 1. I am trying not to just rely on typical conclusion words and 2. The two statements didn't seem to be presenting an argument, just two 'facts'. But I guess now that I know the answer, is the author's main point here to dispute the premise? The premise being: there's only one true way to get an annual rate of earnings on interest.
Tiger: Not all fruits are ideal for a sweet pie. Eggplants are more known for savory dishes and do not taste good with sugar added.
Disney: All new employees can choose from two tiers of health benefits: high & low coverage. Employees with dependents under age 26 must provide an ID and medical certificates to get the high tier. Everyone else only needs to show an ID. John is on the low tier and he has 3 family members over age 26. Therefore, John did not provide medical certificates.
Fat Cat: 7 players in a game have 2 traitors within the group. Traitors usually don't speak up and try to sabotage challenges by playing badly. Jessica has been quiet for most of the game, which she says is due to her introverted nature, and her team lost the 1st challenge. My hypothesis is that Jessica is a traitor, intentionally keeping to herself.
@Aileened same here. I started in September 2025. I studied for maybe 3 weeks using LSAT Demon then never tried again until today. I just scored a 144 on my diagnostic (oof) but I am determined to keep going until I get it. I likely won't get myself together for a Sep 2026 law school start anyway, so slow and steady will win this race for a Sep 2027 beginning. Wishing you the best.
