Where can I find the diagnostic test? I started working through Foundations but I'm supposed to take the diagnostic first and foremost, just can't seem to find where it is!

@GiovannaGarcia Have you tried to create a study plan? I think the diagnostic should be a part of that process. If that doesn't work, you can always just try PT123 under PrepTests or even just an LR section from that PT.

It has been a while since I studied. I decided to give the exam another try. I will be reading and going through everything from the beginning.

@Aileened same here. I started in September 2025. I studied for maybe 3 weeks using LSAT Demon then never tried again until today. I just scored a 144 on my diagnostic (oof) but I am determined to keep going until I get it. I likely won't get myself together for a Sep 2026 law school start anyway, so slow and steady will win this race for a Sep 2027 beginning. Wishing you the best.

@Aileened late to the party but i'm doing the same! I studied for about six months for the november test, now i'm retaking in august. i think more review of foundations and the CC, if u have the time for it, never ever ever hurts

I have never taken the LSAT and I am planning on taking it in January for the September 2026 intake. Please send me your well wishes. Very nervous but also hopeful. I will be dedicating a lot of time to this as my schedule will allow this.

So for someone who has no background or experience in law, I plan on taking the LSAT next year in March 2026. Would you folks say studying from now till then is enough time to ace the LSAT?

    3
    Wednesday, Sep 17, 2025

@lilifakava I think you're doing more than what I have heard others do. I have no experience and am just starting out as well, so take this with a grain of salt. But you're allotting more time than I am for now. I plan on doing 7 sage, I start an in person LSAT prep course September 30th which ends October 30th. I think I might try and take the LSAT in November for the first time. I think you will do great you're giving yourself a reasonable amount of time. Especially if you aren't in school or work full time like I do.

@lilifakava I am also attempting to study, i think i might push the timeline at take it in June 2026, hopefully i don't get scared and follow through. The more time you give yourself though the better you'll get at scoring high on the LSAT.

is the logical reasoning section needed if logic games have been removed from the exam? is there any correlation?

    0
    Edited Friday, Sep 12, 2025

@RachelPorche Logical Reasoning or LR is its own section. Logic games or "analytical reasoning" was removed august 2024

I wish I would have gone through the material I was stuck on as quickly (but efficiently) as possible. I hurt myself in my last LSAT because there was SO MUCH I didn't know for the rest of the test. I was too fixated on trying to be perfect that I sacrificed the RC section entirely and half of the LR. Lesson learned!

I've taken the LSAT twice and will be taking it a third time in September. How long per day is recommended/how many lessons a day?

@kelseysilb why you took it twice, is it like so hard

@TAPSCEO Sorry, could you explain a little bit? I'd like to understand where you're being rerouted to ads. (That shouldn't be happening, so if we can fix things, we will.)

So how do we know if we have "advanced logical reasoning"? Through a diagnostic? If so what diagnostic score should tell us we don't need to do the CC?

@MidoMashakel If you take an LR section and get -6 or higher, you can probably skip through a lot of the Foundations and LR curriculum.

Funny, in your example about having only a month to take the LSAT. I am in this position as I just started and have to do this for reasons I can explain later. What should I do? I am not ready and do not want to retake this test. What plan do you suggest? Thank you.

@THS Taking mine in 2 months.. I've been using the lessons on LawHub up until now and I recommend it if you want even more content to practice with (drills, lessons, videos, etc.). But yea I'm pretty much where you're at lol.

@THS Do you have to take it in 1 month? The LSAT is the single most important piece of your law school application. You should spend time to get as high a score as you can.

If you must take it in 1 month, then skip the lessons and just drill and take PrepTests.

    2
    Wednesday, Jul 2, 2025

@J.Y.Ping Yes, under the PLUS program we have one month. We had 2 months but after speaking with several people neither is enough time unless you were scoring in the late 150s or 160s. Because of this do think if you get a low score you should cancel your score and, if so, will that count as one of your five times to take the test or the seven in your lifetime? If I do this, I will retake it in December since it only takes three weeks to send schools the scores and apply in late December. Knowing this, what do you think our strategy should be for me and others in this situation? Thank you.

@THS same here bro i got exactly one month and feel like im about 1% prepared.
