I always flag question 1 and this video really helps to ease the nerve 😂
I feel safe living in a turtle-free neighborhood.
I am also curious about this question 🙋
me doing other types of questions: even already locate the 'should-be-correct' answer, still quickly check other 'should-be-wrong' answers just to make sure
me doing this type of questions: once locate a 'might-be-correct' answer, select it immediately without any hesitation and move on as fast as i can
I hate this question type :(
😂
someone kill me
maybe in the 17th century printing was so damn expensive so the troupe only had one copy and all the actors had to read and memorize their parts one by one.
I find your this really helpful, thank you :) !
But I am a bit confused:
Waller's original statement is "If there were really such a thing as ESP, it would generally be accepted by the public".
If we assume this means "the public's opinion on ESP is an indicator of its exsitence", we are assuming "if it is accepted by the public, then there would be such a thing as ESP". And isn't that a mistake taking necessity for sufficiency?
Translation:
Waller: if ESP is a real thing, then the public will know and accept it.
Chin: even if ESP is a real thing, if the elites don't like it, the public may not know let alone accept it.
Differece: whether the public's opinion on ESP is an indicator of its existence.
I have a similar feeling and its me a huge insecurity : (
1. Format: two speakers
- Agree or Disagree
-- Agree: both agree with (MSS twice) - the speaker's statement supports the answer choice.
-- Disagree: one would agree with but not the other.
- Explicit or Implicit
-- Explicit: stem will contain agree or disagree
-- Implicit: most support, suggest
2. Disagree is more common than agree, read the question stem carefully.
3. Most wrong answer: no opinion.
4. Two approaches: hunt mode, or process of elimination (POE).
The official dos and don'ts mention that we need to apply for special accomodation if we wanna read out loud but there are some posts on reddit saying they were told that they could read out loud if they take the test remote. I still have quite a long time before my exam so my plan is to get used to reading silently as best as I could for now : ). If you plan to read out loud on yours maybe you should contact LSAT directly.
I hesitated for the same reason as well, but finally chose C because the other options are more obviously wrong.
thank you I take this as a daily English education for me LOL
Didn't know they have accomodations for that! I will check it. Thank you for the info!
As a non-native English speaker, I must say that it takes me a fairly long time to read and proceed each argument and option. If I 'read' a paragraph without reading it out loud in my mind, I am just 'looking at it' instead of processing it. But the problem with reading it out loud in my mind is that it is so slow :(. Anyone has any advice on this issue?
I can't be the only one who feels both RC and LR are hard af 😭
