@APBookninja called them and got nothing. No better luck with email, either. Still waiting on Thursday evening. My concern is that I’m scheduled to take the Feb test in a 9 days, and it feels pretty unfair that I may have to decide whether or not to take it without knowing how I did in Jan (arguing the unfairness of this situation also didn’t persuade LSAC to tell me anything).
In general, I think the key to LR is to slow down and understand the question (stem, stimulus, and choices). Then, you see patterns in answer choices (e.g. they love just mashing words together in a way that seems intelligent but is actually useless), and the timing comes more easily.
I just got an email saying my score is on hold (email came Monday; score release is supposed to be Wednesday). I am hoping that it's because my score went up (from my prior 174), but does anyone have any insight into causes of a score hold based on past experiences? I did the argumentative writing on a prior administration, so that's not the holdup.
@Arthurxx S1 was way worse. worst score on an LR in the last dozen PTs I've done. S3 was fine though.
@Arthurxx PT158 is the only PT150+ that I haven't done yet, so not sure
Do we have a more concrete sense of how difficult PT159 is? It was a few points below my recent average, but not sure how common that was. I assume that online comments are self-selecting for people who thought it was hard, so curious if we have anything more definitive.
Is there a consolidated list of all the Miros in the Core Curriculum? I know there were a bunch, but I don't think I can go through every lesson again to find them.
Update: they released by score around 4 PM ET on Friday (2 days late). I got a 178! No explanation of why they delayed it. Score was 4 points higher than my prior score, so not a huge jump (within their “score band”).
