I said D and then E on blind review because I thought B made the author take a position on the efficacy/perfectness of the proposed reform even though they did not. Although the other doesn't say that evidence rules inevitably entail imperfect mediations, they don't speak on the proposed reform being good or bad compared to anything else, only that the "clear-grounds proviso" was not what Bentham would have liked. So how can we assume that they thought the reform was imperfect?

@SenorVic A did not disprove the position of vegetarians, it simply asked the reader so enter a hypothetical in which the vegetarian position was wrong. "But suppose that X" instead of "It is actually that X".
