Hey! Did you request "writing utensils" when you submitted your accommodations? If yes, here's what I brought: Colored pens (to annotate), #2 pencils for the scantron (they won't allow mechanical), and a highlighter. If they don't give you a highlighter, you should be able to use your own but they will usually make you use their highlighters (just bring them just in case). Whatever you don't use goes back in your locker so better to bring what you need to be safe and throw something back in your bag later. If you did not ask for the utensil accommodation, I'm pretty sure they will just give you a pencil and highlighter BUT I'd still bring my own to be on safe side! Remember that they too make mistakes :)
Hey all! Sooooo many people reached out so I'm going to host an "office hours" style situation where you can bring questions and get some help! What would be most helpful for you: Pick 1-2 questions in areas that you consistently get wrong where you struggle to understand WHY you got it wrong and we'll work through the process. If you're interested, I'm going to host the first one Thursday July 23 from 6-7 PM EST! Anyone is welcome to join: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82145298502?pwd=rC21SaJz0K0kxUh9PUTppQv0xdHnN7.1
Hi all! I recently got a 168 on the June LSAT and I'm studying to get in the 170s right now. It helps me to explain things out loud to people so if anyone in the 140s/150s wants someone to hop on Zoom with them for an hour (for free) and help them walk through questions, I'd love to! Especially if the explanation videos aren't clicking for you!

I have pen and paper and I just take a pic/sc and put it on goodnotes on my ipad so I can write on it there!! Or download pdfs of Pts for everything else
@Jasonhf99 I think it's too late now because it's so close but you still have a week where you can apply for accoms for september. Just make sure you practice with the timing you'll have on test day!
@valpal yes that is the deadline! i'd try to register earlier because you can't apply for accomodations until you're signed up for an exam. once you have them for your 1st test, you automatically have them for all others. But even if you apply around the registration deadline, you'll probably be okay. They approve accomodations pretty fast!
Meds plus figure out your best productivity times. I also try to workout before. The best advice I can give is to get amazing accommodations! I recommend split test over 2 days, extra time, start/stop breaks (you can get up and move whenever you want! I personally have a dance break every 10-15 Qs). Not hard to get and will help you a lot!
Might depend on their level of degree/certification like a counselor would probs not work. I had my therapist who is a psychologist complete it and had no issues!
Hi! I scored a 168 in June and will be taking the August and potentially September exams. I'm stuck scoring around 170 and would like to bump my score to a 173. I'm looking for a few tailored sessions to help me break through my plateau.
Bonus points if you've had experience working with students with ADHD!
Hi all! I have several accomodations and sadly, LSAC keeps messing up my exam administrations. First, I had a missing proctor (in-person which made it worse) and then during my retest, they provided the wrong exam on lawhub. I'm not sure how often issues like this happen, but it seems like they are getting confused when administering/scheduling my exam (even though I have pretty normal accommodations). If you have accommodations (or even if you don't), be aware that your exam could get messed up as well. If this happens, please advocate for yourself! You can file a complaint online for a standard exam or via email for a retest. LSAC can cancel your score without impacting your limit and making it clear it is their fault for the cancelation, and could get you rescheduled for another admin without you having to pay for a new exam all over again.
I also suggest reading your accommodations out to the proctor and explaining them so there is no confusion. That said, LSAC has screwed up every testing admin for me which sucks after months of studying, making this LSAT journey last wayyyy longer than it needs to. And even if they provide solutions, they typically aren't that fair either. Very frustrating experience for me, but hope that other disabled test takers don't have these experiences as well.
I've been trying to really break these questions down in non-timed settings, so I can focus on the details. Once I am consistently getting them right, then I'll try and work on speed. I also am trying to drill a bunch and revisit core curric lessons :)
Hope this helps!
