A quick glance at the question stem...
Maybe the video says this just in an extremely confusing way, so I'll try to simplify it here. I made the mistake of choosing B, but quickly realized after I saw A was right why B was wrong. Just because Penn didn't go above and beyond in the particular scenario described in B, doesn't mean he couldn't have on another instance because he falls into the category of officers that are eligible for the award. A directly bars his membership into the category of elligble officers which is why it is correct. Mainly writing this for myself, but maybe it will help someone see why B is wrong and A is correct.
Since when are we questioning the truth of the premises and conclusion in the stimulus? Since the beginning we were always told to take the stimulus as true, but now the reason B is wrong is that we aren't believing the conclusion drawn in the stimulus?? #feedback
I don't like E because having a net positive calorie gain doesn't rule out that we couldn't have gotten adequate fat storages at the shore. I don't think adequate fat storages is equivalent to net fat calorie gain? Isn't this an unreasonable assumption? You can still get adequate fats in a diet and burn those fat calories off? It doesn't negate the nutrients from the fat you ate just the calories you consumed. #feedback
Mind's eye mentioned. Hail Reaper
LSAT writers correct answer choice: Atoms
Reasoning: Atoms are a 1000x superset of the conclusion because everything is made up of atoms meaning it is the correct answer choice.
Writing this out so I don't make this mistake again.
The main point is to teach us about this "interesting" thing...
Fox News catching strays.
Are we just suppose to assume that the "mid 90s into the next decade" is a subset of "several decades." If so, how is that a reasonable assumption when there are many decades outside of the 1900's and 2000's. #feedback
So any answer choice that has the same subject matter as the stimulus can be automatically eliminated?? #feedback #help
