Q09- Re: The author's use of the term "realistic."
The passage uses this exact term only twice, otherwise stating "realism" and "reality." The question asks specifically about the "term," not the idea or concept of reality. Obviously, this made answering the question a tougher exercise. Are we to assume in other passages that "term" means not the literal instances of a word but the word and its related concepts?
This might sound dumb, but I've improved at these difficult questions by getting better and faster at the easier ones. Generally, I breeze through the easiest questions and bookmark these long, tough-to-parse questions for the end. By banking time early, I can go through and fully map these questions out, which has led to improved results (granted, I still got this wrong, but I'm getting better). Good luck
For Q16, I had eliminated choice D because I believed it was the author of the passage stating, "Primatology is a particularly apt vehicle..." and not Haraway herself. I've reread the question and passage a bunch and still read it this way. Granted, none of the other answer choices make any sense, but this question seems a little iffy to me.
Digging through the comments it looks like test takers 3 years ago struggled with this as well. If you struggled with this question their comments are worth a read
I got this one right but I stared at the screen blankly for a while just kind of dumbfounded at this question. The 1-star ones routinely trip me up because I'm looking for traps
Not sure if anyone else can relate but the one-star questions often make me second-guess myself. They feel too simple.
Framing them as MBTs as suggested in the first lesson of this set has been tremendously helpful for me. The lesson says this method may be time-consuming, but I have found the opposite to be true. This post from the 7Sage blog has also been helpful:

You've got this!
I've reallyyyyyyy struggled with NAs and started the whole lesson set over today. Felt so good to get this one right. We got this everybody
I've had a few as well. In this last set I had LSAT 119 Section 2 Question 21. There have been a few others along the way.
Totally agreed. I was breezing through the previous sections but cannot wrap my mind around these
I recently just got past the same problem, you can too! Take a break, let your brain get some rest, and trust your instincts as you dive back in. Keep going, you've got this!
The instant I saw the "ages 40-60" I figured it was just too irrelevant to the set in question to possibly be correct. I skimmed through the other answers and my intuition was confirmed. I can foresee a future where I wind up trusting my intuition a little too much, but (for now) I'm finding it a helpful strategy. We've got this everyone!
Started 3 weeks ago, taking LSAT in November (and February if my score isn't what I'm aiming for)
Thanks for these comments. This was starting to feel pretty tedious and I was looking for some reassurance that this section was worth it!
Instinctively picked A and switched to E after my brain melted to goo reading the other answers. I am pissed but props to the psychopaths at LSAC for cooking this up
