The reason I didn't choose D is because it says "more than what it costs them to pack and ship their product." But it doesn't say more than what it costs to produce the product.

They could very well be taking a loss, regardless, no?

Gotta make my own assumption here that stress leads to heart problems, got it. Can't wait to make this assumption in another PT and have J.Y. tell me that it's an unsubstantiated assumption. Kinda salty lol.

I'd understand the provided explanation if the stem said "could potentially contribute" but granted that "contribute" is a strong enough word on its own, I was unable eliminate AC C.

I bet the writers of this question were giggling to themselves when they were writing these ACs...

My only quibble with AC C is that the stimulus does not explicitly state that the pollution generated is from "running" the pre-1980 cars (e.g., lead/plastic degradation, oil leaks). This would require a self-made assumption not stated by the author. Confused as to when we should make such assumptions ourselves...

Was definitely humbled by this question. AC E made sense at a glance given that the quote appears in the same sentence as "...the whole point of the exercise of writing has nothing to do with classification..." This alludes that the author is speaking on what these different forms of writing have in common (i.e. not distinct)

However, I suppose that "makes no distinction" in AC E is too broad of a statement. As Kevin mentions, M could make other distinctions among these forms of writing, even if their goal is not distinct. Oh well...
