Can someone please help me diagram and understand the inferences made from these statements?
Some As are Bs.
All Cs are Ds
No Bs are Cs.
Here is what I have so far.
AsomeB—-> ~C
~D—->~C
Inference: Asome~C
Having a hard time understanding this flaw. Unsure of why A is wrong and D is right. #help #help #help
@ Thank you so much for the help. I have done a PT on chrome and had no problems. If it happens again, I will make sure to take a screenshot. Thank you again for the help.
I thought this question stem was asking for a main conclusion. Still got it right even though I knew B was not a direct translation of the MC. I am having trouble identifying the question stem as a RRE. How do you know this is a RRE? #help #help #help
@ Thank you for the reply. How did you make the inference ~B (--s--) D? I am having trouble making that inference.

Very tricky question stem. I was treating this as a MBT and now realize, that it was a NA all along. Completely changes everything. Any help in understanding how this is a NA and not a MBT? #help
Hey,
Planning on taking the October flex. I am PTing around 146-150 with goals of hitting around a 160 by October. If anybody would like to be my study buddy or even be a part of a study group. Please let me know!
@ Thank you so much.
@ Thank you for the help. It happened during PT 42 (Fourth section). I was using safari browser before and now will try using Google Chrome to avoid a potential repeat of the issue.
also interested if still taking people!
During my last PT, there was some kind of glitch in my LR section. I was not able to see all of the answer choices and was shown only 3 answer choices for some questions or just 1 answer choice. I tried scrolling up (sometimes the answer choices are long) to see more but that didn't work either. I had to stop my PT and do a timed BR and then actually do BR. I'm not too sure if this has happened to anyone but if so, how did you solve this problem?
Thank you.
@ great strategy. Will definitely give it a try. Thank you.
I am having trouble diagramming this sufficient assumption question. Can someone please explain why A is correct and the others are wrong? Thank you.
@ Just one. I have decided to go back to CC and reinforce the concepts. So far, it has been showing results! thank you for commenting.
@ thank you. ive went recently back to CC and it is already showing results.

Your numbering might be off. Question 14 appears to be an Argument Part question. Is that the one that you're referring to?
Hey. Sorry about that I meant to put PT 27.5 S1.Q14
@ Hey. Sorry about that I meant to put PT 27.5 S1.Q14
My question is whether I should learn the basics for all LR and Logic games and then proceed to attack the quizzes and tests with the Blind Review method? Or should I follow the core curriculum and not skip any parts?
Thank you!
What would the Lawgic be for a/c (E)? #help
Unable to figure out this PSA question out. Please help.
Interested! I am in EDT too.
Fines levied against those responsible for certain environmentally damaging accidents are now so high that it costs a company responsible for such an accident more to pay the fine than it would have cost to adopt measures that would have prevented the accident. Therefore, since businesses value their profits, those that might have such accidents will now install adequate environmental safeguards.
Which one of the following, if true, most seriously weakens the argument?
A) Businesses generally greatly underestimate the risk of future accidents.
B ) Businesses are as concerned with long-term as they are with short-term strategies for maximizing profits.
C) Businesses generally do the environmentally “right” thing only if doing so makes good business sense.
D) Businesses treat fines that are levied against them as an ordinary business expense.
E) Businesses are learning to exploit the public’s environmental awareness in promoting themselves.
I am not 100% certain in understanding why A is correct and why D is incorrect.
Thank you.
But is this not an assumption on the reader to assume that the soft covered wire is of warm and comfort? It could have been for various reasons why infant monkeys chose soft-covered wire rather than bare wire. My reasoning for eliminating E was because it includes this assumption, which was not supportive by the passage since the passage does not indicate any reasons for why infant monkeys chose soft wire or the bare wire. Instead, the passage only mentions that in a study this is what the infant monkeys did in 2 different 'experiments'/ 'scenarios'/ etc. Please help. #help #help #help
@ Thank you for the support!
@ It was very helpful. Thank you!
@ Hey, I am getting around 145-150 on PTs and my goal score is a 160. Any advice? I feel like I am stuck and would appreciate some advice from someone who has increased their score by that much. Thank you.
Hi everyone,
I am confused on how to react to my latest LR section score. Under timed conditions, I scored a 7/26 (-19). Horrible. I know. But my Blind review was 17/26 (-9) which is not good but significantly bettter than -19.
Now for the question part of my discussion post. What do I make of this score? How do I make my BR score my timed score?
Thank you,
Hey everyone,
As you all may know, the LSAT is going digital. I was wondering if that would affect the way I should approach the LSAT? Ex. should I still print out the questions , etc.
thank you!
Could someone help in explaining the lawgic for the conclusion and why the "not" is outside of the brackets? I watched the previous lawgic videos that J.Y mentions but was not able to understand why it was negated in such a way. Why is it not /HP ----> HTE? Thank you. #help #help #help #help
I would be interested. Thank you.
