I don’t understand this explanation..the ac says the animals left due to industrial development it doesn’t say the natives were prevented from using the herd animals because of industrial development? I interpreted like they weren’t used because they simply werent available in the area anymore because the habitat was destroyed by buildings etc? Surely they could have gone else where to get the animals they needed? I don’t see how we can jump to them being “prevented” just because they weren’t available in the area anymore? i don’t see how this is analogous to the situation in the passage in which an actual law was preventing the use of the otters…can you explain further how this is an example of “traditional” based on the passage? #help
#help what determines a drill easy, medium or hard? I selected easy and got one passage with question difficulties 3/5-5/5 and the PSG/Game/S Difficulty were all 5/5 and the second passage had all 1/5-2/5 question difficulties and the PSG/Game/S Difficulty were all 1/5? I usually drill easy first then move on to medium then hard to make sure I'm grasping all the techniques, but I wanted to understand how the drills are ranked if the easy ones still have difficult pasages+questions? #feedback
Tried the hard questions because I was doing pretty well throughout this lesson, 4/5 First round and 5/5 on BR :))))
For the first time, I got every single question correct on this lesson, small wins :)
Okay so after watching the explanation, I'm confused. You eliminated A immediately after reading that it starts "Some anthropologists argue that" and that's literally the reason I eliminated C initially. Reading "Anthropologists are divided in their assessments" is basically the same as "Some anthropologists argue that" to me. Maybe it is not a good strategy to teach to eliminate before reading the answer choices completely. Doing that is the reason I got this wrong. Is my thinking wrong? #feedback #help
some of these questions click and then some don't at all
These are taking me foreverrrrrrrr. I'm getting them right tho
I got this right, but it took 6 mins. I have trouble mapping out the stimulus in my head and then trying to remember/compare it to the long-winded answer choices. I used the the highlighting feature to help develop a color pattern hoping to make it easier to remember but it still takes too long I fear.
Do you have any suggestions for someone who is still struggling a bit with grammar breakdown when reading passages? I think I know what the subject and predicate/verb is but sometimes I get them wrong after watching explanation videos. Not sure how to get better on this because when I review the previous lessons the sentences are far less complex than the actual sentences we are reading in the questions. Would love more realistic applications in the lessons throughout after understanding how to apply the skill on some elementary-reading level sentences. Give us hard stuff to test us in the beginning as well. #feedback
4/5 first time... 2/5 on blind review lolllllllll
Weaken questions were my weakness buttt I got this correct :))
Ummmm we are not ALL 22-24 JY
So I got this correct, But I wasn't sure how to map the Application out correctly? There are no indicators so I couldn't tell if it was confusing sufficient/necessary. I just assumed it was because of the lesson. Would a deeper explanation of this please
grammar is a bitch.
This explanation is confusing but if you slow it down it makes a lot of sense
I just want to be more confident in my answer choices especially when they are correct. Does confidence come with understanding or intuition?
#feedback please read the incorrect answer choices all the way through instead of skimming and quickly eliminating in explanation videos. when I pick wrong answers I wanna fully understand where and why they're wrong.
4/5 on medium, hardest question was the only one I missed. I am satisfied with that lol cause I literally was getting them all wrong in the lessons. I was going to stop and move on to a different section but I decided to push through. Once I realized that I am looking for the missing sufficient assumption in the answer choice I think that helped me understand a little better also I stopped diagraming I think that was confusing me more not sure but whateverrr
Ngl probably gonna have to skip these. I do not get it at all.
Finally got one right :)
HATE THESE
its not clicking
"but not otherwise" is crazy
Need a better explanation for why E is wrong its saying the same thing in reverse? How is that wrong?

I'm confused about the explanation of C. I eliminated it because the conclusion "is not justified" is an unreachable conclusion which was taught in the previous lesson. But JY's explanation talks about contraposing to get the opposite conclusion I don't under because I thought we couldn't do that?? #feedback
