THIS IS AMAZING, TYYYYY
exactly in the same position! DM me if you need anyone to vent with haha
This question is such a toss up. I keep rereading the comments to understand why A is correct and not E and it just feels like a matter of preference. Can someone please explain this a bit better? #help
Alternatively, does anyone know if you are rejected from ED but sent to the regular admissions pile, if you can submit a November LSAT score? I want to apply ED and I'm taking the LSAT in October, but just in case it's not enough I am sent to the regular pile, would I be able to contact the school to let them know I have another score?
I chose A during the PT and E during blind review because I realized that if someone is being treated for mentioned conditions, then their lower levels of magnesium could be attributed to the treatment they are receiving and not the hard/soft water they are intaking. This undermines the researcher's argument. I don't even know why I chose A given that it's pretty irrelevant based on the stimulus.
So for strengthening questions, is it always the case that we are reinforcing the assumption made in the conclusion?

LSAC yet again coming up with another way to make the LSAT more inaccessible  This is incredibly upsetting but thank you nonetheless for all the time and effort you've invested into this program.
#help The reasoning for answer choice E being correct is that neutral traits won't substantially contribute, however, wouldn't negative traits also not contribute substantially? I ended up choosing D and am having trouble understanding why one is correct over the other.
My understanding from the explanation in the video and other sources online is that D is correct because it acknowledges that it may not be lifestyle choices/education that cause good health, but that some other (unnamed) cause may result in education and good health. But can someone please provide their reasoning for why D is correct? I chose B thinking that the stimulus was asking for something that could weaken the argument. Overall just pretty confused. #help
I struggled with understanding Stephanie's response. If I would have understood it the way JY explained, C would have made sense. Sksksks I hate this test
#help I'm sorry but I really don't understand JY's explanation nor the response below mine as to how D is the correct answer. Can anyone else please explain their thought process? Thank you!!
#help I'm confused as to how D is the answer for what is not stated, since the sentence "The former is nothing but..." is a referential phrase back to the previous question that points to "propaganda." I thought that because it had already stated that health education was propaganda, that answer choice D was already stated so I ended up choosing B.
I can't emphasize how much I relate and how much I needed this post. Thank you.
was literally scrolling through reddit while listening to this LOL, thx for calling me out JY
I instinctively got this question right despite there being only a 14% chance out of me getting it correct from where I'm averaging right now on my PTs. #progress
@ nice!
...this is like asking the high school teacher if she's gonna collect the homework after she's forgotten...
wow shout out to the one cognitive bio class i took that allowed me to visualize this passage and get the questions right lol
After graduating from undergrad, I moved across the country for a fellowship program. When that ended, I unexpectedly ended up working on the east coast for another year. After two years on the east coast, I honestly got really homesick and the NY winters were taking a toll on my mental health. I impulsively put in my two weeks at work (they totally understood and I still have a great relationship with them!) and moved back home to be closer to family and to study for the LSAT. I am really lucky to have two loving parents who didn't ask questions about my decision and were ecstatic to have me home. I know everyone doesn't have that privilege so definitely consider if you can extend your study time if that's the case.
I'm not quite sure how I'll explain the four month gap in my applications tho. If anyone has a similar experience, pls let me know.
Hey, first of all, I'm so sorry. Cancer is the fucking worst. My sister was in a similar situation a couple years ago. Our mom was diagnosed with cancer right before she was about to head off for undergrad. She ultimately decided to attend a backup school in our hometown instead of the higher ranked school that she had been admitted to out of town, but she did it so she could be closer to home to be around for her treatments. I think it would have been really hard for her to be away during that time. Our parents are Spanish speakers and were undocumented at the time, so she especially didn't want to leave her alone to navigate all the healthcare stuff by herself. My mom is thankfully still with us, and my sister ended up graduating and is now at USC for grad school.
I think you'll want to take into consideration if you want/can be around your family during this time. Law school will always be an option, and you can always explain in your addendums why you decided to delay or take time off. I would say that if there is a law school in your city that you're confident you can attend, that could be an option! Applying to law schools also means considering how far away you are willing to be from your mom/family during this time, the treatments, etc. Definitely weigh in how much you can emotionally and physically handle because law school will already be very stressful.
Take care of you and your family first. I think there is this immense pressure of rushing towards your next professional step, but remember that a ton of people take time off before applying to schools! I'm 24 and still studying for the LSAT lol. Happy to talk more privately if you need any other advice/would like to vent. (3(/p)
I understood the flaw but I didn't understand what B meant or how it related to the flaw ughshdilfhkeukfh. I interpreted the "Therefore" in the argument as signaling a causal relationship and picked E. Ugh
none of this made sense this test is demonic
"go join B in the corner" lmaooooo dragged by JY
If an LR section felt easier than others, is it usually experimental? How can you tell?
