Hi! If we switch our subscription to the new site, will this impact LawHub Advantage purchases?
Also, if I'm 40% of the way through the Foundations module would it make sense to switch at this stage? Thanks!
Also confused by this - shouldn't "fail to kill" be a verbal infinitive phrase? Otherwise that implies the antibiotics fail the bacteria lol
AFAIK it's because it's a verbal phrase in the infinitive form. English verbs can be complex, so the verb is "likes to (drink)" rather than "likes." As a result, "milk" is the object of the sentence so it's still a basic part of the predicate. https://learnenglishweekly.com/advanced-english/what-is-a-verbal-phrase
So basically as a rule of thumb, if they don't mention an outside "source" for the context, it's more likely part of the premise?
It's not! The answer and video explain that it's just a point made by the author with no support, not a conclusion.
Thank you! I was just thinking this and was even thinking "how do we know to assume that in this context the definition of suitable essentially means safe?" It can be difficult to assess what they want us to assume is common knowledge vs. what is a posteriori knowledge in the world of the stimulus.
This is a little old, but very down for some Zoom sessions! Anyone else applying to the JDFlex program at NUL?
Joining the GroupMe as well! I'm on the East Coast and trying the LSAT for the first time in October.
