My attempt to be a speed demon is literally the reason I am missing questions and then they make so much sense in the breakdown. SLOW DOWN!!!

This helped me. I found myself looking for the answer choice that STRENGTHEND the argument when faced with this type of question rather then the answer choice that simply DOES NOT WEAKEN the argument further. Sounds kind of obvious, but it worked for me.
e·rad·i·cate = destroy completely; put an end to. If the word "mitigate" was used then I could understand answer choice D being correct. #7Sage Help Me Please
