Hello, I was listening to a 7sage podcast and the hosts mention having clear set goals that you establish before taking a drill, timed practice test, or timed sections. Does anyone have an example on what those type of goals should be? I feel like mine are way too general like read the stimulus carefully or understand stimulus completely before getting to the answer choices.

would A be wrong if we needed a necessary assumption? But since it's only a sufficient assumption, we can assume that matching one of the conditionals is sufficient for the assumption?
I also made this mistake during blind review.
what if people are spending money to pay off their debts?
Me just realizing the LSAT just gives you super complicated question stems just to blatantly show a flaw in the argument.
what would be a good name for this type of mistake?
i literally had no idea what the stimulus was trying to say
Can we get a group going? I would appreciate this very much.
I think there are highlighting and underlining options on the exam. I think the ideal situation is to be able to get good enough at causal reasoning so that you can map this stuff in your head, which you essentially get better by doing. But you're also given scratch paper which would allow you to map out these sort of questions.
Hi, in Toronto, interested!
Also, live in Toronto. Please let me know how y'all are going to coordinate this!
why is B better? I guess the first pargraph mentions how new evidence is brought to light taht the platypus uses it's bill to locate prey at a distance. wow. lol.
A right. Suggests that they added an additional layer of cobalt after the painting was already done before 1804. This is why cobalt appears in both studies, but it is suggested that the painting was created before cobalt was ever used.
Hello everyone,
I am considering changing my test from June to August. I have been scoring in the low 160's and would like to score in 165-170. My highest PT was a 165. I have taken about 15 practice tests. Logic Games is my best section but not by that much, usually 4-6 questions are missed on average.
Given other posts and listening to some podcasts, it seems that the obvious choice is to push to August. In other words, if not achieving a goal score in PTs, push it to a later date.
I am hesitant about changing from June to August because I'd really like to just give the LSAT a go and see how it turns out. I know it seems naive, but I've been studying for 3-4 months and feel like I finally have the momentum to try it. Additionally, I don't know if I'll be able to mantain the same schedule that has allowed me to improve thus far.
I think I would be comfortable taking it again in August. Please let me know what you guys think and happy to answer any follow-up questions in the comments. Thank you in advance for your suggestions and guidance, it does mean a lot.
Is going through A and trying to eliminate answer choices a strategy we can apply to every single reading comprehension scenario where it's broken down into A and B.
agreed. harm some is never mentioned in the passage.
I was choosing between A and E. A had me stumped for a second because I thought if the workers have to pay for it themselves at a nuclear plant makees it a worse place to work than an industrial plant. But that is an unfair assumption to make. E is the better choice.
Hi! Great idea. Discord link didn't work for me.
I am as well
