All of the "line x" reference questions took up so much time

Had to look up an explanation externally that explains the issue of the "and" in the first sentence. It mentions needing to reduce both fat AND calories, so two things. The conclusion notes that N5 is of NO use. Answer E, however, says that N5 helps at least one of the two issues (reducing fat intake). So because N5 reduces 1 of the two things needed, it is not of "NO use"

D essentially supports the argument. D states that if you follow recommendations, you can prevent infection. However, the conclusion of the stimulus states that the recommendations are counterproductive.

I answered C and now see why it is wrong. The first sentence states that nearly all mail (that is correctly addressed) arrives within 2 days. I assumed that this meant nearly all mail arrives within 2 days. What it actually means is, IF it is correctly addressed, THEN it will arrive in 2 days. The final sentence opposes my assumption, stating that MOST mail arrives within three days or more. Meaning that if it takes 3 days or longer, (most) mail is incorrectly addressed (answer D).

The answer for B was a bit confusing, so what I did was just a simple translation drill. The question states if there are distinct cultures, then there are no shared values (DC > /SV). Answer B is simply the contrapositive. Because of technology, we will have a shared values and a non-distinct culture (SV > /DC). This is essentially saying the exact same thing, therefore B does not weaken the argument. (note the EXCEPT in the question stem). Hopefully my translation applied correctly.
